A sprawling Peak District property, steeped in history & surrounded by breathtaking views, Upper House is available for weekend hire. The property boasts exclusive fishing rights to Kinder reservoir, on site shooting days, cookery courses, tasting sessions, licensed weddings & so much more.
The brief was to create a website that would effectively project the many unique & fascinating qualities of this exclusive luxury venue to their target market.
I developed a design & unique UX that focused heavily on images & utilised the excellent photography commissioned by the client. Sleek, understated & without looking overly modern, the end result is simple, easy to use & fully responsive. Every single element of the website has been heavily considered & developed to give Upper House the exclusive, luxurious feel it deserves.
There is a great deal of information to share with the website’s visitors so I designed a clean navigation to break the information down into easy-to-find, bite sized morsels. Each section of the website has editable, scrolling image galleries in the background which can be easily updated when required. We added video functionality, which allows our clients to feed their promotional videos throughout the website via their new Vimeo channel. The plans page functionality allows website visitors to see a full overview of the floor plans & even view images of each room of the house.
Take a look at the Magazine section of the website, where features & articles can be regularly added. These articles can then be shared through the Upper House social media feeds, which I also styled to reflect the classic design of the website.
Each element of the website has been heavily considered & developed to give Upper House the exclusive, luxurious & illustrious feel it deserves.
